Day 29 - 30 Painting's in 30 Day's Challenge.  

Yay!  right?

This is my 4th time participating and I do it because 

#1. I desperatly need practice.

#2.  I have a few pieces to sell...hopefully:)

Day 11- Just a Daisy

Day 11- of the 30 Paintings in 30 Day's Challenge. 

 No Flower model today so I used a website called Paint My Photo.  It's a great photo reference site that photographers allow artist's to use their photo's as long as you reference the source like I did here >  by EvyMiller  PMP.  

 Oh yes the daisy!!  well mostly what I would say about it is that WHITE and all shades of white drive me crazy!!  

Also, I have a dog named Miss Daisy and she is crazy too.

Day 30 - Dixie

Day 30!!  I said Day 30! of the 30 paintings in 30 day's challenge.

If you are following close you know that I would have been happy with 15

but I got to 20 something...tomorrow will post a collage as a final whoopty doo, AND I will continue to paint a few others that I have some pics of....not daily but at least I am back with a little momentum:)

About Dixie.  She was a sweet girl who's owner misses her dearly.  

It is hard saying goodbye to our furry friends and they can sure

dig a spot deep in our hearts forever.  RIP Dixie.

Day 21 of the 30/30 Challenge is Ziva. 

This pose originally had a santa hat on her head but 

I edited the hat.  Luckily I had a couple extra reference

photo's to make sure coloring of her ears were correct.

I loved all of her wispy whiskers and big green eyes!

Michigan State University fan Sophie.  

She is all cozy in her Spartan scarf and ready for a big game...well probably in hopes of somebody's dropped appetizer!

Day 8 of the 30/30 Challenge is Vance the pig who dearly loves his blankets!

  Vance belongs to my cousins and they keep him inside like any family pet.

He was definitely fun to paint and you may see him again soon!

Day 6 - Is Sparta the beautiful wide eyed cat who I painted as a 

commission last year.  

I never posted him before and did so today because my painting time

was all flubbed up.  I can give you at least 10 excuses as to what happened but it would sound like blah blah blah....and besides Sparta here needs a spot on my blog so I can buy time for tomorrow's hope of a better day.

Day 3 - I painted Finnigan before on the last 30/30 challenge.

So when I cat sat for him last Fall, I snapped some more pics 

of this cool NYC city cat.  He has the prettiest green eyes!

tee hee...I am a 30/30 party pooper today.

What really happened here?  

TOO many errands including picking up son traveling 

from NYC to Baltimore on bus in Blizzard.

Picking up daughter's winning Taylor Swift Tickets 

in strange building in Baltimore that was

like being in the Twilight Zone...very crazy day.

It is nice to find some good tomatoes in the Wintertime!

I couldn't get an accurate photo but the background is actually darker.  

I'm guessing that the problem lies with it still being wet...yeah right Renee.

Day 15 of the 30/30 Challenge is actually something I painted last year, 

hence the throwback Thursday or really I didn't have a painting finished ;)

Anyway...I LOVED doing marbles and am somewhat of a sucker for shiny reflective objects
....kind of like a dog seeing a squirrel.  

I do believe we are 1/2 way there.  Thank you Leslie Saeta!
